Seek First - His Righteousness

When we talk about "seeking first the Kingdom," it's like setting the foundation for everything else in our lives. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:31-33 not to worry about what we'll eat, drink, or wear, because when we put God first, all these things will fall into place. It's like starting your day with a cup of coffee—it sets the tone for everything else. Just like we prioritize that, we're invited to prioritize seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness.

Seeking His kingdom is about aligning our hearts with His, letting His principles, priorities, and ways guide us. And seeking His righteousness is a beautiful reminder that it's not about our performance, but about resting in the grace of what Jesus has already done for us.

Let's keep it simple: start your day thanking God, remembering His goodness, and letting Him guide your plans. Before we grab our phones or get caught up in the busyness, take a moment to center on Him. It's like adding the first building block of your day—it sets everything else up for success.

Pray With Me!

Father, thank You for reminding us to seek You first in all things. Help us to trust in Your provision and to align our hearts with Your will. May we remember that in Your kingdom, we find everything we truly need. Guide us today as we prioritize You. Amen.

Let's Reflect:

How can you make space in your daily routine to seek God first? In what areas of your life have you been worried, and how can you hand those worries over to God? What does seeking God's righteousness look like in your everyday life?
