Seek First - His Kingdom

When Jesus taught us to seek first the Kingdom of God, He was asking us to align our priorities with His. It's easy to let life get busy with worries and plans, but what Jesus offers is a new perspective: when we put God first, everything else falls into place. This doesn't mean life will be free of challenges, but that we'll have the guidance and peace we need through Him.

In Matthew 6:33, Jesus says, "Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." The kingdom is about more than just a far-off future; it's about letting God's rule and reign guide your heart and decisions now.

Putting God first means trusting Him in our plans, our worries, and our future. It's the key to living with a deep sense of peace, no matter what comes our way. Take time today to examine your heart. What are you putting first? Remember that when God is first, everything else finds its proper place.

Pray With Me!

Lord, thank You for reminding me to seek Your kingdom above all else. Help me to trust You with my plans and fears, knowing that You are in control. Teach me to align my priorities with Yours and to live with a heart that puts You first. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Let's Reflect:

What does it look like to seek God's Kingdom first in your daily life? How can you trust God more with your plans and worries? In what areas of your life do you need to realign your priorities with God's?
