The Miracle of Preservation - Charlotte Gambill

There's something truly beautiful about the way Jesus handled the most intense moments of his life. Just before His arrest, He's in the garden, fully aware of the pain ahead, yet He maintains peace. Jesus knew His purpose and didn't run from it, even in the face of betrayal and violence. And in the chaos, He paused to heal the ear of Malchus—showing His heart to restore what's broken, even in moments of personal suffering.

When we face trials, Jesus reminds us of peace, purpose, and restoration. Life may bring pressure, but God promises perfect peace to those who trust Him. Even when we don't understand the pain, we can be assured that God has a greater purpose. He can restore what feels lost or broken, no matter the circumstances. If God could heal a severed ear in the middle of chaos, He can heal the broken places in our lives too.

Pray With Me!

Lord, thank you for your preserving peace, even in our most difficult moments. Help us trust in your purpose for our pain, and remind us that you can restore what is broken. We rest in your loving care. Amen.

Let's Reflect:

What pressures or fears are you currently facing, and how can you trust God to preserve your peace? Have you experienced a time when God revealed a purpose in your pain? How did that change your perspective? What areas in your life need restoration, and how can you invite God into that healing process?
