DAY 9 | Faith Hacks

The Good News Is…

It's human nature for most of us to allow the adverse circumstances in life to capture and keep our thoughts preoccupied with the negative. We sneeze and wonder if it's Covid… we see lights flashing in our rearview mirror and think the police are coming after us. Enough bad things have happened in the past, that we begin to ponder when the other shoe is going to drop. Even Jesus confirmed it when he said in John 16:33a, "In this world you WILL have trouble…" But he didn't stop there!!! In John 16:33b He continued, "But take heart! I have overcome the world!" In other words, difficult, painful, hard times will come.

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS…

JESUS already defeated every single one of our enemies!! With Him it's going to be okay! He is with us! He is for us! He is working everything together for our good! Greater is He in us than he that is in the world! With him all things are possible! The good work that he started in us, he will complete! He has overcome every ounce of tough terrain we could ever traverse… so that we can walk in VICTORY!

As we boldly brave this brand-new year, join me in engaging this faith hack by declaring each day, "There may be some troublesome things going on, BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS, with Jesus, all is well and shall be well!"

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I ask that you fill me today with a mind, heart, and spirit that chooses to focus on the good news! Regardless of what is going on, help me to always proclaim, "THE GOOD NEWS IS with you all is well and shall be well!"

Reflection

What do I fear? What specific promise(s) from Gods word wipe that fear away? As I think about this specific fear or problem, I declare the truth that if God is for me, nothing can stand against me!
