I Am the the Alpha & Omega | Therefore I Am
Life is filled with beginnings and endings, isn't it? Some days, we're excited for the next chapter, and other days, we find ourselves dreading what's to come. But what if we knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that no matter what happens, Jesus is there at both ends, guiding us through every twist and turn?
In Revelation 22:13, Jesus tells us, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." That means Jesus is with us from the start of our story all the way to the very end. He's not just there at the beginning of our journey or at the finish line—He's with us in every chapter, through every struggle, and in every celebration.
Think about it: Jesus is the Alpha—He's the first, the origin, the creator of all things. He was there when the world was formed, and He was there before you even took your first breath. And He's also the Omega—the last. He holds the final word over your life. No matter what you're facing, the end has already been decided, and it's victory in Christ!
So what does this mean for us today? It means we don't have to worry about the middle chapters. It means we can trust the story He's writing because we know the end is already good. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, and in Him, we have everything we need.
Pray With Us!
Jesus, thank You for being the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Thank You for being with me in every moment, whether I'm at the start of a new season or in the middle of a challenge. Help me to trust You fully, knowing that You are the author of my story and You will bring it to completion. Give me peace, knowing that You are in control of the beginning, the middle, and the end. In Your name, Amen.
Let's Reflect:
How does it change the way you view your current season, knowing Jesus is both the Alpha and the Omega of your life? In what areas of your life do you need to trust Jesus more fully, remembering He holds the beginning and the end? How can you focus more on His presence in the middle of your story, rather than just the beginning or the end?
