DAY 14 | Faith Hacks

God Keep His Promises

1 Corinthians 1:20 NIV "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God"

Thinking about how God always keeps His promises is like having a strong anchor when life gets rough. All through history, God has shown that He never breaks His promises. From making covenants with people like Abraham to talking about making things right again, God always does what He says. Even when we're unsure, it's comforting to know that God always keeps His word. God is always faithful, like a solid rock that we can trust no matter what happens. When we feel down or when things seem too hard, remembering how God has helped us before gives us strength. It's not just a story from the past; it's something we can rely on right now as we keep walking in faith.

Remembering how God always keeps His promises means doing specific things. First, write down times when God did what He promised in your life. You can keep a special journal just for being thankful to God or think and talk about these times when you pray. Doing this makes your heart full of thanks and helps you trust God more. It also starts to increase your heart of gratitude and helps remind you how God has always provided for you. Also, reading parts of the Bible that talk about how trustworthy God is helps us believe even more in the things He promised.

In our daily lives, let us apply this truth by anchoring our hope in the unchanging nature of God, rather than the shifting tides of circumstances. As we face trials, let's consciously choose to recall instances of God's faithfulness, allowing them to bolster our trust in His promises. Sharing these testimonies with others not only strengthens our faith but also encourages fellow believers to hold fast to the assurance that God indeed keeps His word. Remembering God's faithfulness is not just a passive exercise; it's an active engagement that shapes our perspective and sustains our faith.

Affirmation

Today, I choose to anchor my hope in God's unchanging nature, reminding myself in each moment of His all-encompassing faithfulness.

Reflection

Can you recall a specific moment in your life when you faced a challenging situation, and despite the odds, God demonstrated His faithfulness by fulfilling a promise? How did that experience impact your faith journey? Amidst the uncertainties of life, how intentional are you in remembering God's faithfulness? What practical steps or habits can you incorporate into your daily routine to cultivate a deeper awareness of His unwavering promises? Consider the promises of God found in Scripture. Which promise resonates with you the most at this stage of your life, and how does clinging to that promise influence the way you navigate through both trials and triumphs?
