Walking in Favor

There was a story from Pastor Rob's sermon of the man in the woods who didn't need to outrun the bear, just his friend. Sometimes, life feels like that—racing, rushing, trying desperately to beat something, or someone. But here's the thing: true favor isn't about running the fastest; it's about recognizing the gifts in the pauses, in the smiles, and in the helping hands along the way.

As we step out into new beginnings, remember that favor follows those who extend kindness, humility, and genuine service to others. It's not just about finding favor in the eyes of God and people, but also about being a source of it.

May each of us find the courage to live out the profound truth that we're blessed to be a blessing!

Pray With Me!

Dear Lord, as we celebrate these milestones, we ask for Your continued favor upon our graduates. Guide them with Your wisdom and fill their paths with opportunities to love and serve. Help each of us to recognize the gifts You've placed in our lives and to extend those blessings to others. In Your gracious name, we pray. Amen.

Let's Reflect:

What is one way you've experienced favor in your life recently? How can you become a source of favor to someone in your community this week? What does it mean to you to live out the truth that we are blessed to bless others?
