Technical Pastor

Title: Technical Pastor

 

 

Expected Commitment:

Around 45 hours per week. Up to 60 hours during Easter, Christmas, Shine, July 4th weekend, Back to School (Fall kick-off) and recording weeks.

 

Summary of Position:

  • The Technical Pastor’s primary responsibility is the health of his/her family and personal walk with God.
  • Recruit, oversee, and shepherd a volunteer team that provides worship through technical support at all Shoreline services and events on all campuses. This includes training seminars, clinics, and workshops.
  • Manage the stage at Broadcast Campus.
  • Maintain lighting, computer, gear, and stage needs in all rooms and at all Shoreline Campuses.
  • Push sermons to Podcast and ensure online stream is operational and sounding great.
  • Participate in Service design in: service planning, stage setup, lighting design, pro presenter design, audio/monitors, and crewing.
  • Help oversee audio, lighting, and production for Shoreline Services and Events across the Broadcast campus.
  • Handle AVL needs for all staff gatherings.
  • Maintain LED walls on all campuses.
  • Help build AVL packages for future church plants.
  • Manage Planning Center Tech team for Broadcast Campus. Help fill in scheduling gaps at other campuses.
  • Help manage and staff events at Shoreline.
  • Report directly to Creative Pastor.
  • Adhere to the Employee Handbook for all Shoreline Staff.

 

Weekly Duties:

  • Power Meeting, Production Meeting, Song Production, Writer’s, New Song Cafe
  • Attend other required meetings.
  • Meet and make contact with volunteers weekly.
  • Set stage and FOH.
  • Check battery levels and light bulbs on all of North Campus.
  • Assist and run training workshops and clinics.
  • Build and maintain church gear.

 

Sunday Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and oversee volunteer involvement and training for Main Room (ProPresenter, Monitors…etc.)
  • Turn on/off projectors and assist/troubleshoot video needs and tv needs
  • Troubleshoot AVL Kids needs if necessary
  • Oversee any AVL need in chapel
  • Run AVL for Main Room
