When it comes to thinking about hell, we have one word for you – NO!
No –Don’t go
Hell was created for the devil and his fallen angels. The enemy would like to take as many people with him as he can. But the Bible tells us God is patient. He loves the world he created and every person in it. He wants everyone to receive the free gift of his grace and everlasting life.
No –Make it hard for others to go
As Jesus’ life on earth came to a close he commissioned his followers to go and tell the good news. It’s not enough to be content with the good God has done for us. We need to tell others about his love and welcome them into God’s family.
No –Make sure hell does not prevail in life
The kingdom of heaven is founded on two things, righteousness and justice. Righteousness means we are restored to right relationship with God. Justice is making what’s wrong with the world right. We can bring heaven’s definition of justice to the world around us by confronting injustice and bringing a little taste of heaven to earth.
Affirmation: I won’t be going to hell, I’ll make it hard for anyone else to go and I’ll make sure hell does not prevail in life
