Trunk or Treat at Shoreline Church is an alternative to the typical trick or treat experience where you can enjoy the holiday in a safe, family environment with children from our Church and our Community. Treats will be given out of the trunk of cars, truck and/or SUV’s. Each vehicle will open their theme-decorated trunk and hand out candy! Additional parking spaces are available at request to host games, etc. You may enter your vehicle for candy distribution by registering on-line, simply come with your children to collect candy or do both!

The best way to plan your trunk idea is to pick a theme. Don't forget about a costume for yourself. The most interesting trunks include owners dressed to match their theme.

Theme Ideas - Please choose child-friendly themes - many of our children will be preschoolers and toddlers, so we ask that participants not use scary items, like blood, bats, witches, monsters, etc.

a) Beach or Luau: hang towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella
b) NASCAR: display souvenirs
c) Harvest
d) Sports: (pick a sport) - team displays
e) KIDS INTERESTS: Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, Veggie Tales, Backyardigans
f) Animals: - stuffed animals count
g) Western
h) Camping
i) Christmas (or other holiday)
j) Gone Fishing
k) Pirates
