MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

Being a mother of a preschooler can be many things: rewarding, entertaining, exhausting, challenging, humbling, isolating, invigorating - basically a roller coaster ride, at best!

The women of Shoreline MOPS understand and appreciate the craziness and preciousness of being entrusted with fragile little lives that often have stinky diapers and wailing lungs. We celebrate the incredible role God has called us to do and we stand in awe of the heavenly Father’s patience with us as we seek to fulfill that role.  We laugh. We cry. We nurse. We listen. We pray. We get interrupted. We even occasionally wear make-up.

It a journey that we embrace and hang to.... as long as we can. Our heart’s desire is that each and every mommy feels welcomed and valued as they join our community of Moms no matter where they are spiritually, emotionally or otherwise..

So let’s BREATHE... And enjoy some FRESH AIR!

We are here to serve you, prayer for you, love on you and be a help to you. Please reach out to any of our steering team or other leaders.

About Us

Purpose Statement: MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.

Meeting Structure

Come as you are to build friendships, be encouraged and gain practical parenting strategies and grow in your faith. All while your children are lovingly cared for in our MOPPETS Program located in the Preschool rooms. A typical meeting entails the following:

Food: What would a get-together be without food? Each table takes a turn in bringing food for all the GROUP to enjoy.

Guest Speaker:
A featured speaker will share a message from their heart and experiences for about 20-30 minutes. Topics range from mothering, marriage, friendships, to health and much more.

Craft & Discussion:
Moms are assigned to tables according to zip codes. For 20-30 minutes we have a craft/activity and discussion time to share of our personal lives and discuss speaker’s topic. (All discussion are kept confidential).
