A Letter from Pastors Rob & Laura
Years seem like a blur. They say that happens after 50. It seems like only yesterday we were preparing for the 2011 Heart for the House (H4TH) offering. One thing I know, however, is that no matter how fast time flies by we all want to make a difference. We all want our lives to count! Through your generosity in last years H4TH offering, so many wonderful things took place. We built a school in Gulu, Uganda where former child soldiers now receive a world class education. We helped launch Shoreline Dallas; a now thriving fellowship of over 200 people. We were able to support many local and overseas ministry endeavors, plus we made significant improvements to our facilities. It was so beautiful to see all the lives that were served, helped, encouraged, and loved. The bottom line is that it is always about people. And what is really exciting is that the best is still yet to come. Laura and I are praying with great expectancy that this coming year is going to be filled with purpose, passion and blessing for you and the whole Shoreline family. Thank you for being a part of our lives and for your gracious participation in the H4TH.
Shoreline is excited to partner with Danita’s children in a special way this year, to help provide funds to build the pediatric wing of a new state-of-the-art, 17000-square-foot medical facility, that will bring hope to the incredible children of Haiti. The first of its kind in the area, this facility will meet basic medical needs, so these precious children can receive the healing and loving care they need to live out their purpose for God.
All around the Austin area we provide hope, as we share the message of the gospel and meet the tangible needs of the people served through our local mission partnerships. Each hug, loving touch, warm meal, school supply drive, life skills training class, and outreach service… plants a seed in the hearts of the less fortunate, imprisoned, poverty trapped, homeless or broken hearted who are on the receiving end of our giving.
From taking in abandoned babies; to providing care and a place to grow and play; to educating people for a better future; to reaching the unreached and spreading faith through evangelistic efforts… we are honored to be a part of impacting lives for generations to come through our Caleb Foundation and Global Mission Partnerships.
Campus and Facility Development
North & South
Our facilities are the first thing people experience when they come to any Shoreline campus. They also play a big role in the over all worship experience for every area of ministry. With this in mind, we’re making upgrades to our lighting equipment, décor, signage, and landscaping. We are also revamping our website. These improvements will enhance the worship experience at each location, as well as for our online church audience.
A brand new church in a brand new nation – what could be more exciting! We are thrilled to be partnering with Watoto Church Juba, to help launch this new congregation with a bold vision to bring healing to the hurting nation of South Sudan, through the love of Jesus.
