Purpose
To provide each new believer with foundational information to help them grow in their faith and relationship with God and discover who they are in Christ.
Features
- Help a child understand the need for salvation and their decision to receive Christ in to their life.
- Answer any questions they may have about their new life in Christ.
- Encourage them to follow Christ with their life.
- Show them how to live their daily Christian life in such a way that will bring satisfaction to themselves, be positive witness to others, and give glory to God.
Process
- Decision to accept Christ (Salvation)
- Complete Crossover Basic Training Course
- Follow decision with baptism (if they have not already been baptized)
- Attend church regularly
- Spend time with God daily
- Find ways to serve God and others
Class Ages: Grades 2-6
Class Dates: April 11 - May 16 (6 week Sunday class schedule)
Class Time: Choose one class time from these two classes; either 8:30 a.m or 11:00 a.m.
Class is held during regular services in Beta Classroom in Crossover Childrens Building. Please choose either the 8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. service time. There will not be any make up or switching of classes due to limited class sizes. Class meets after service in the Command Center when children move into small groups.
Materials Needed for Class: Bring a bible. If you do not have a bible, we'll have extras on hand. We recommend the NIRV or CEV for 2nd-3rd graders and the NAS for 4th grade and up.
Attendance: Must not miss more than one class in order to receive class certificate.
