You never know when you are going to have a breakthrough moment.  I was at the last Men's Conference that Leon Fontaine spoke at.  It was a life changing event.  I walked away understanding more about myself and with a true peace from my encounter with Christ during that weekend.   If a man does not take the opportunity to attend this conference he is cheating himself of the blessings that God has to offer him.  What is worse is that he is cheating his family of the blessings that God provides in a husband and father that walks in the way of the Lord.  I can't in good conscience sit by and not warn my brothers of this risk.  If we do not, as men, stand up in our love and knowledge of Christ then we do not understand how truly magnificent is His love for us.

I enjoy the Men's Conference, because it is one big gathering of men who come to worship God, and I believe this is going to be an extraordinary conference.

Leon Fontaine, our guest speaker this year, spoke at the 3rd Shoreline Men's Conference. He discussed what it means to be meek. Imagine the strength and power of the mighty horses that pulled the chariots in battle.... sword, spear, & arrow flying all around them, wounded yet charging ahead; turning left & right at the slightest nudge of the reigns. Being meek isn’t about being a wimp. It is about doing the right thing, God’s thing, regardless of every other influence around you.  No doubt he will impart lasting wisdom into our hearts again this year. 

It is my hope that every man comes expecting to receive a revelation of God’s Word that will result in a permanent transformational change in the emotional, spiritual, physical, mental, & relational dimensions of His life.
