Courage
It takes Courage to be a man, a real man, not just male, but a man who lives by what he believes, his convictions. It takes Courage to stand against adversity, to risk criticism and pain because there is a cause greater than the pain that we may face. It takes Courage to lay down your life for your wife and family. It takes Courage to share your struggles with a friend. It takes Courage to persevere and wait on the Lord to answer your prayers. It takes Courage to surrender your life to the one who has a better plan that we may not fully see. It takes Courage to follow Jesus!
Where does this Courage come from? It cannot come from our human effort or self sufficiency. It must come from a source greater than our own strength. It must come from a source that has been proven, tried and tested. Courage must come from the one who has already overcome the most difficult circumstances and adversary. Courage must come from the one who hold the world in his hands and can never be defeated.
God did not create man to retreat, but to advance, to move forward into the destiny and plan that was set before him from the beginning of time. God created man with the potential to destroy kingdoms of darkness. Nothing is impossible for the man that has surrendered his life to his Creator. It may not be easy, but the noble things in life are worth fighting for. Men, be strong and courageous, if your God is for you, then who or what can possibly stand against you. The victory is yours, Take Courage!
