Shoreline East

As of 2009, the City of Austin’s homeless population was 3,450 and it’s exploding. The population is made up of the chronically homeless, mentally ill, substance abusers, Veterans, persons living with HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence and youth. Shoreline East is a ministry dedicated to restoring the human condition of homelessness by providing assistance with food, clothing, I.D.'s, job placement, transitional housing referrals and S.S.I Disability Attorney referrals, as well as weekly Bible studies and small groups.  Thomas Wright is the Director of Shoreline East and has been serving Austin’s homeless community for five years. Join us every Saturday at 12:30 p.m., we provide our East Austin congregation with a full worship service including: testimony, message, altar call and hot meal.
