Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a Godly way, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God, and not according to their own ways. Some of the responsibilities include teaching and training the child in God's Word, demonstrating an example of Godliness, disciplining according to God's ways, and praying earnestly for the child. Baby Dedication is offered to parents that would like to dedicate their baby to the Lord.  The Campus Pastors or Campus Directors will pray over, lay hands on and dedicate your baby to the Lord.  

These are the questions Pastor will ask of parents at each Baby Dedication Ceremony:

1. Prayer is a powerful spiritual force, a dialogue with God. Will you teach your children how to pray, and will you pray that they come to understand the breadth and depth of God’s love?

2. The Bible is God’s word, his love letter to us. Will you teach your children to honor it, to cherish it, and to hunger after God’s story?

3. God’s Spirit desires to live within each of us. Will you teach your children to live joyfully dependant, and to walk in the fruit of the Spirit each and every day?

Prerequisites:

• Pre Registration before Noon on the Wednesday prior to the ceremony date
• Check in the day of ceremony

• At registration, an opportunity is available to tell us something special about your child that may be read during the ceremony
• Pastor Rob and Laura will pray over all the children and their families
• Registration is open through Noon on Wednesday prior to the ceremony date

North Campus - 3rd Sunday of each month- 11:00 a.m. service
South Campus - 3rd Sunday of each month - 11:00 a.m. service
West Campus - 3rd Sunday of each month - 9:30 a.m. service 

Check in Locations:  Please remember to check in your baby before service on the day of the ceremony for a name tag.

North Campus - Family Room

South Campus - Rear Check in Station and meet Grace Ukpong

West Campus - Nursery

Wearing the name tag will help the officiating Pastor or Campus Director with your child's name, lets us know that you attended and gives us the opportunity to mail a Baby Dedication Certificate to you.  Please verify at registration that we have your updated contact information and/or update your contact information on a connect card and drop it in the tithing bucket during any service. 

Exceptions:  Mothers Day and Fathers Day (Baby Dedication will be on those Sunday's instead of the third Sunday if different) 

We have a Family Room at Shoreline located along the West hallway at our North campus where service may be viewed on a large screen TV in a family friendly atmosphere. This room is available to families with small children that may become fussy, energetic or restless during service.  Please feel free to bring toys and other items to keep them entertained.

Once a child or an adult has accepted Jesus as their Savior, whether a seasoned believer or not, he or she may make a public proclamation of his or her faith by joining us for Water Baptism.
